Our story began in Turin, a city of elegance, discipline and patient craft, where the Ballesio family devoted itself to the art of weaving. Generations before the word "luxury" filled the shop windows of the world, we were already choosing yarns one by one, testing their softness and watching how they caught the light. For us, a fabric has never been just a material. It is a promise: that it will drape beautifully, last for years, and feel like a second skin.

At Gippy Ballesio, the old and the new share one loom.

We inherited the patience of Italian master weavers. We added the curiosity of an engineering mindset, shaped by Proteggi Italia, our home of advanced textile research. The result is a house that respects the hand-feel of a fine cloth and also asks how it can perform better, last longer and move more freely with the body.
